Shelby Miller is the founder of RUMA Medical Aesthetics. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner with a doctorate degree from Gonzaga University. Shelby is a skilled cosmetic injector and well known in the medical aesthetic industry for producing natural, transformative results. Shelby is a national trainer and has educated hundreds of medical providers in the aesthetic community. She founded RUMA Training and conducts many private one-on-one trainings. Shelby also trains nationally for the industry-leading company Galderma. Shelby is proactive, detail-oriented, and has a positive and outgoing personality. She is continually trying to learn, grow, and improve her aesthetic skills. Shelby attends industry conferences and training as often as possible. She loves working in this industry and has a passion for helping her patients become the best form of themselves. Shelby takes pride in treating her patients with kindness, inclusivity, and respect.
Traci Andreason - Nurse Practitioner - RUMA Aesthetics
Traci Andreason is a board-certified nurse practitioner and advanced aesthetic injector with a background in facial plastics. She offers all injectable procedures available at RUMA Aesthetics. She has a passion for women’s health and provides multiple treatments aimed at improving urinary incontinence and sexual function. She is a national trainer in aesthetics and has authored multiple books for the medical aesthetic community. She is a perfectionist and loves customizing well-rounded treatment plans for her clients. Traci is passionate about enhancing each client’s unique beauty and is well known for providing conservative and natural results. In her free time, she enjoys playing in the mountains, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two sons.
Meet Chrissy Bushell
Chrissy is a board certified family nurse practitioner and a highly skilled aesthetic provider. She began her nursing career as a pediatric nurse at Primary Children’s Hospital then continued her education at Graceland University earning a master’s degree in 2013. Chrissy gained her certification as an aesthetic injector in 2014 from The National Institute of Medical Aesthetics (NIMA) and has been injecting for over 7 years. She currently teaches the comprehensive aesthetic injecting course at NIMA. She is a current member of The American Society for Aesthetics and makes continuing education a priority. She is married with 4 children and enjoys spending time with her family, road/mountain biking, hiking, and traveling. She is passionate about providing safe, high quality, natural-looking results for all of her clients. We are so fortunate to have Chrissy on our team!
Dani is dedicated and internation passionate about health and nutrition she is caring details oriented and passionate about her work.
Dani is a board-certified nurse practitioner and certified aesthetic injector. She specializes in injectables and women’s health services at RUMA. Dani obtained her master’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain University. Prior to joining the RUMA team she spent 10 years in pediatrics at Primary Children’s Hospital. Dani is passionate about aesthetics and making people feel better, inside and out. She is dedicated and intentional in all she does and is constantly working on growing and improving through education and training. She is married and has a darling daughter, and loves health and nutrition, and spends her free time with her family and friends, traveling, boating, mountain biking and exploring

Tessa is an experienced and skilled, certified aesthetic injector. She is caring, detail oriented and passionate about her work. Tessa is an RN and currently in school at the University of Cincinnati to obtain her MSN, FNP-C. She started her nursing career as a pediatric oncology and transplant nurse at Primary Children’s Hospital before working at a plastic surgery office as an aesthetic injector. She believes in the power of prevention in all things health and aging, and maintaining a natural aesthetic and a youthful you. Many patients are concerned that injections will change the way they look, however, when done appropriately they actually maintain and enhance, whereas aging is the true culprit of aesthetic change. Tessa believes in safety above all and takes pride in consistently educating herself and attending national trainings. Tessa recently had a baby girl and outside of work she loves good food and traveling with her husband, family and friends.
Aubrey was born and raised in South Jordan, UT, where she met her husband. Aubrey has been married for almost 3 years and she and her husband are expecting their first (non-fur) baby in August 2021! Aubrey received her Master’s License in Esthetics from the National Institute of Medical Aesthetics in 2016 and has been practicing esthetics ever since. From working with a Plastic Surgeon to working in Spa Trouve, Aubrey both practiced and trained in Esthetics. “I absolutely love what I do. I am so excited to be a part of the RUMA team where I continue to specialize in skincare treatments as well as recommending ZO Skin Health products.” The best part about what Aubrey does, in her own words, is “helping people feel beautiful and building friendships.” Aubrey never lets anyone walk out the door unsatisfied.
Mariah was born and raised in Sandy, Utah. Mariah received her Master Esthetician License from Skin Science Institute of Laser & Esthetics in 2019 and has been working in the Medical Esthetic Industry ever since. Growing up she always loved the beauty industry, first starting with makeup and eventually developing into skin health making her passionate about helping others feel confident in transforming there skin with day to day medical grade products combined with result driven esthetic procedures. She takes great pride in developing connections with her patients while also achieving each of her patients skin health goals. In her own words, “ My favorite part of the esthetic industry is not only helping people feel confident in their skin transformation but also creating a safe space to build deeper personal connections.” When Mariah is not at Ruma she is most likely spending time with friends and family, traveling, or enjoying a Netflix Series.
Morgan was born and raised in Utah. She received her Master Esthetics License from the National Institute of Medical Aesthetics and has been practicing in the field for over a year. From a young age, Morgan has taken great interest in health and wellness and believes that healthy skin starts from within. Being able to share her love for skin health treatments, from relaxing to transformative, along with medical grade skin care products is a dream come true. She says “helping others feel beautiful in their own skin is my reason why. I have experienced not feeling confident and I love that I can be a small part of someones journey to confidence. I am extremely honored to be apart of the Aesthetics Team at RUMA and can’t wait to continue my career while building life long connections with my clients.” When Morgan is not at RUMA, she enjoys spending time with her husband, getting a good workout in, and baking chocolate chip cookies.
From a young age, Penny has enjoyed helping people to feel good about themselves and be happy. Penny has more than 15 years of experience in the sales and hospitality industry. She started her career in Real Estate, helping people find their perfect home. For the last several years she has been working in the Salon and Spa industries, helping people find the best ways to pamper themselves. She believes that if her team loves what they do, then guests will also love the experience and their treatments. Penny has a knack for creating a heartfelt and genuine memory for our guests. One reason that Penny has been able to connect with guests so quickly, is that she believes in the services offered at Ruma, having seen the benefits personally. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and getting snuggles from her puppy.
Ally grew up in Utah County. She knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in the aesthetics and skin care industry. She obtained her esthetician license in 2018 and has been working in the field ever since. Ally is a true people person and has the innate ability to make everyone she meets feel like a million bucks! She is also a huge animal lover and lives on a farm with horses, cows, chickens, and her Irish Setter, Darby.

Brittany has been in the beauty industry for the past 16 years. She loves being part of the journey to empowering women to feel beautiful in their own skin! She has lived in Georgia, Michigan and has called Utah her home for the past 25 years. In middle school she played soccer, basketball and volleyball. But in high school she found her passion to dance and joined the cheer squad and drill team! She graduated from Westminster College with a Bachelors degree in Communications! She met her husband 16 years ago and they have been married for 11 years last August! When she is not at work she is creating memories with her 4 kiddos! She loves high fitness, dancing, working out, interior design, event planning, hiking, traveling and experiencing different cultures!
Annie is the 4th child in a family of 7. She is passionate about health and wellness, placing high priority on fitness as well spending time with her family. Professionally, Annie has worked as a top sales representative at a prominent fitness company in Utah where she received countless accolades and awards for being at the top of the company for sales and customer service. Annie is interested in others and has a gift for remembering details. If there’s anything Annie would want people to know about her it would be that she is genuine.

Savannah has worked in the Medical Aesthetic industry for over 5 years with experience at various medical spas and facial plastic surgery offices. She has a passion for this industry and loves being a part of our clients’ anti-aging journeys. She is very well educated on the cosmetic procedures offered at RUMA Aesthetics and takes pride in being able to assist our providers in creating beautiful, natural results for every client.
Elle has been a certified medical assistant for 7 years and has previous experience working in women’s health, dermatology and, plastic surgery. Elle’s favorite thing about working at RUMA is getting to be a part of helping others feel more confident and beautiful in their own skin. She is also a certified nutrition coach, personal trainer, and self-development junkie. In her off time, she loves to spend time with her husband, create youtube fitness videos, and eat delicious vegan food!
Haley is passionate about all things aesthetics and loves helping people look and feel their best.
Haley grew up in Nebraska and has worked as a medical assistant for over two years before moving to Utah where she earned her aesthetician license. Haley is passionate about all things aesthetics and loves helping people look and feel their best. In her free time she loves to read, watch movies and hangout with her dogs, milo and moogley.
Toafia was born and raised in Holladay, Utah. She has been married for almost three years and is expecting her first baby in March 2022. Prior to working at RUMA, she obtained her master’s aesthetician license from Acaydia. She always wanted a career in the beauty industry because of the way it can make someone feel more confident and beautiful. When she’s not working, she loves spending her time with her husband, family, working out, and going on scenic drives.
Peyton grew up in the south valley of Salt Lake County. She has been passionate about both the Aesthetic and Medical fields from a very young age. This led her to recently obtain her Master Aesthetics license from the National Institute of Medical Aesthetics while simultaneously working towards her Bachelor’s of Science Nursing degree. Her favorite part of working in the Medical Aesthetics industry is being able to help people feel good about themselves and watch people become confident in their own skin. When Peyton is not studying to complete her BSN degree, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends, working out, and being in the outdoors.
Lauren was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Prior to working at Ruma she obtained her master’s aesthetician license from Skin Science Institute of laser and esthetics in 2020. From an early age it was clear that aesthetics was going to be her career choice. Lauren is passionate about making clients feel good about themselves and enhancing their confidence in their appearance with an emphasis on skin care. In her free time she is an avid surfer, a big disco skater, a former soccer player, and loves to spend time with her golden doodle, Ivan.
